Once you get the blend, the mouse/keyboard combo is a hell of a lot more accurate than a joypad; a while back someone hacked the PC version of UT2k3 so it would connect to PS2 servers, and there was a huge amount of 0wnz0ring going on.  No matter how good people were with their joypads, the mouse/keyboard guys won every time...
