I have to say I've given this a whirl and it was actually quite good. Apparently it uses the Call of Duty 4 engine - which explains why it looks so good, and why I recognised the blurry "ringing ears" sensation when you are caught up in an explosion. The only trouble (as with most demos) is that it's a 500Mb download and only one level.

a demo of a game is still game ... and far from it. installing new hardware is a tourettes sufferes dream job as every cnut expects it to cause a profusion of abusive language
