REPRAP PRUSA: the first parts have started to arrive..

Here’s a couple of pictures I took of the boxes that greeted me when I returned from leave on Wednesday this week:

The Brown box contains the mechanical fasteners, The White box contains the plastic parts

And here’s a look inside the brown box:

And then a closer look into the contents of the smaller box:

bolts, washers, PTFE Tape, and a small stud

All pretty standard stuff so far. Next though, I have some shots I took of the plastic parts I received from Justin @ Polytempo:

This was how the parts were when I opened the package from Polytempo – thankfully nothing was damaged! In fact, I might suggest to Justin that he thinks of a different method of packaging the parts in future.

On the whole, I’m pretty chuffed that for a little over 100GBP I have the necessary parts to create the frame for the REPRAP PRUSA (Mendel) I want to build.

Stay tuned as I’ll be posting about the other parts I need for this assembly as & when they are delivered.
