Now that the event is over, it’s time to take stock and reflect on what was one of the most (from my point of view) trouble free events we’ve hosted in a long time: -

Everyone (that turned up) found the place, and got set-up without a hitch and for the most part the games worked well; With the notable exceptions of Call of Duty: World at War, and Company of Heroes.

I think that using Steam to stay in contact with everyone worked really well – especially as it saved walking back and forth between the two rooms. And I will be using the BigBeardyLAN Steam group to keep people updated.
